Recipe for potato boats filled with stuffing:
Ingredients:
4 large potatoes
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
For the filling:
1 cup (240 g) grated cheese (for example, cheddar or gouda)
1/2 cup (120 g) sour cream or buckwheat
1/2 cup (50 g) chopped bacon (optional)
2 green onions, chopped
1/4 cup (30 g) grated parmesan (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cooking potatoes:
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius.
Wash the potatoes and dry them.
Cut each potato lengthwise and make a shallow recess with a spoon.
Boat preparation:
Place the potatoes in a baking dish.
Anoint each potato with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake in a preheated oven for about 30-40 minutes or until the potatoes are soft.
Preparation of the filling:
In a bowl, combine grated cheese, sour cream, chopped bacon, green onions, parmesan (optional), salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
Filling the boats:
When the potatoes are ready, remove them from the oven.
Fill the recesses in each potato with the prepared filling.
Additional baking:
Return the boats to the oven and bake for another 10-15 minutes or until the cheese melts and a golden crust forms.
Supply:
Serve the potato boats hot, sprinkled with fresh green onions or herbs if desired.
